Educational Tech

Osmo produces a playsystem of hands-on educational games for children aged 3-12 that pairs a tablet (either an iPad or Fire Tablet) with a base and tangible game pieces. To play a game, a child interacts with the physical pieces in the space in front of the tablet, and Osmo uses the tablet's front-facing camera and their own reflector to read in the pieces, which each signify certain actions in the game.

I interned at Osmo for six months in 2018, on a hardware team consisting of two industrial designers and myself. During my time there, I was involved in two main projects: the redesign of the Creative Board and the design of the Little Genius product line for younger kids, both of which have now been released.
